Swing'it Dixieband, Norway's hottest Dixieband has during the last years played at various big internationally recognized jazz, pop and rock festivals like Slottsfjellfestivalen, Molde Jazzfestival and Kongsberg Jazzfestival, as well as numerous jazz clubs, venues, private and public concerts and events all over UK and Norway - always creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere! The highlight was the summer 2015 when they played support for one of the headliners and Kongsberg Jazzfestival: Dr. John & the Nite Trippers!
Several of the members are currently living in London, doing gigs both in the UK and in Norway!
They're active with live vintage videos of Disney tunes covered in a 1920s Dixieland style, which can be found on Youtube. They also write original tunes that will be released sometime in late 2017. They're goal is to bring the vintage music of 1920 New Orleans back to the people, wrapped in their own musical style with a little hint of humour behind.
This is a band you definitely don't want to miss!
We are a passionate, and uplifting indie rock band (featured twice on BBC Introducing) focused on memorable riffs, heartfelt melodies and poetic lyrics.

Spring 2017 sees Tankus the Henge embark on a 15 date European tour that visits seven countries over a period of three weeks before returning to the UK for a further 12 shows around the country.
