Muddy Grease
More details

Muddy Grease is at the start of an exciting career in music. This five-piece fusion band can compare to the styles of Snarky Puppy, FORQ and Stuff. They write their own music that can't be categorized in one style. They create a tasteful combination of jfusion, funk and world with much use of electronic influences. Muddy Grease are four young dogs with a fascination for grooves and sounds. Screeching solos, interspersed with tasteful, beautiful themes are enhanced by rock-solid rhythm work.

Nadia & Jerney
More details

The Molenaar (Miller) sisters Nadia & Jerney grew up in the North of Holland. Mum and dad aren’t quite sure where the talent came from, but somehow both girls ended up in music. Nadia is a singer/music teacher in high school and Jerney is a singer/vocal coach. They both write their own music and perform solo and with bands.

They normally help each other out with backing vocals but this year they decided to actually perform together as a duo. Accompanied by the guitar and piano they sing their own repertoire as well as covers by artists like Eva Cassidy, the Beatles, Jack Johnson and Caro Emerald

Nate Hancock & the Declaration (USA)
More details

"Step one certainly is a down home, earthy feel. That’s only the very tip of the iceberg. Nate & co. mix in a combination of funky, bluesy, poppy, rhythmic, and rocking ingredients taking the listener on an upbeat musical experience. The first single for 2014, “Country Funk” is a prime example of entertaining way Nate & The Declaration artistically bring together such a wide variety of influences. Speaking of influences… they include RHCP, SRV, Hendrix, Dylan, Nirvana amongst others."

Natural Progression
More details

For years nothing happened and no significant progress had been made. They longed for a new sound, a more natural sound. It was time for some new inspiration. With that in mind ‘Mr Montego’ and ‘King Robbie’ started out on their search for a new Reggae Band.
Based in Amsterdam, the group expanded steadily and by now The Natural Progression count 11 members. Driven by a passion for Roots and Dub Reggae and inspired by their Jamaican heroes of old (Gregory Isaacs, Jacob Miller, Hugh Mundell and of course Bob Marley) they started writing their own songs, a blend of original sounds, heavy basslines and spiritual lyrics. Rastafari plays a big role in the life of these young artists and obviously that resonates through their music. Also on stage, the positive energy radiates from The Natural Progression and under guidance of frontman and lead singer Daniel ‘Mr. Montego’ Kroonenberg, one soon finds him or herself wandering off to a place where standing still is virtually impossible
