When singer/guitarist/harmonica player Chris Hargrave - who has played with Albert Lee, Richie Hayward from Little Feat, Steve Simpson from Slim Chance, Mealticket and Frankie Miller - contacted former Looters guitarist Steve Pomeroy, The Bluerays were born. Drawing on their collective years of experience touring both home and abroad, a 'defy you not to get up and dance' set of Rock 'n' Roll / R'n'B classics has been put together for their high energy live shows.
With Brian Diprose joining on bass and the drum stool being warmed by Chris Hunt whose list of credits warrants a page of their own but includes Roger Daltrey, Joe Cocker, Mealticket, The Bruvvers and Lonnie Donegan, you can be sure these guys bring passion, drive and quality to their playing.
With more than a nod to the glory days of 'Pub Rock' you can expect to hear tunes from James Brown, Chuck Berry, Georgia Satellites, Dave Edmunds, The Beatles, The Stones, JJ Cale/Eric Clapton, Frankie Miller, and Jerry Lee Lewis to name but a few.
The boys (and I use that term loosely) can also turn out a full on blues set for those occasional blues club gigs, featuring some tasty original tunes alongside some more familiar blues classics from Freddie King, Delbert McClinton, John Mayall and more.
TRIVIA ALERT: The Bluerays are probably the only band on the circuit with two former Leo Sayer drummers in their line up.
Wherever they perform, The Containers receive compliments about the surprising and varied repertoire, containing songs of Muse, Paolo Nutini, John Mayer, Foo Fighters and many others. Although the songs are recognizable to the general public, the band avoids the average clichés.
Four experienced and passionate musicians, able to turn things upside down wherever they play and never leave without encores.

The Curious Incident makes Indie Rock with a Caribbean Twist that makes land-lovers want to surf! The live band is built around front-man and songwriter Kairo and his music tastes like the spice of Hot-Sauce and the nice of Lemonade, cools you down in summer and brings the heat in winter. Live you can expect to see Kairo storming all over the stage joined by his energetic and electrifying band. The acoustic performances are equally captivating as Kairo cracks jokes, bares souls and makes everyone feel like family (which is why Sofar Sounds keep asking him back).
Fans of Vampire Weekend, Two Door Cinema Club, Crystal Fighters and good times in general won't be disappointed. Based between London and The Netherlands, Kairo and his live band are dead set on making the world jump.
2018 was a DIY high-point for Curious with almost a 1,000,000 streams on Spotify, 2,500,000 views on their "Your Sister" video on Facebook, new fans buying merch from around the world and DIY Mag calling them a "Pure Blast of Vitamin D".
