A couple of years ago, Darren Morrissey and Greg Marshall arrived in London from Dublin with two
acoustic guitars and a headful of shared dreams. They set about hauling themselves up the hard way
from the rough and tumble of street corner busking and open-mic nights to playing at some of the
best venues and recording studios in the city. Now it's all about to kick off with the release of
their second album, We Rise, a hard-hitting, high-kicking, rock & roll band production that reflects this
period of profound personal and musical growth. While their debut, And so it Began, won them plaudits
as the finest pair of harmony singers to have emerged on the circuit for decades, Morrissey & Marshall
have now upped their game with a new collection of songs to rival those of the very greatest groups.
With its epic production and seamless combination of vocal, instrumental and songwriting prowess,
We Rise echoes a tradition of mainstream excellence stretching from Oasis all the way back to the
Beatles, no less.
The words and sounds of Morrissey & Marshall are spreading rapidly.
Whatever happens next, the band are already owners of two of the biggest names in rock, a
coincidence which prompted one MC to suggest that they might sound like “a heavily-amplified Smiths
gig”. Morrissey smiles at the reference to their namesakes. “We have never pretended to be anyone
other than Darren Morrissey and Greg Marshall. It’s who we really are.”
Marshall says “But we don’t give a shit about the industry or where it’s going or who’s involved or what’
s cool on social media and all that stuff. We love playing music and singing. To make a living out of it...
that’s magical. From the name of the band, to the writing, to the live performance, the whole thing has
always been honest..”
Mr. Marten is a Dutch singer-songwriter that writes his songs behind the piano. These songs are about everything that inspires him. They could be about his dream to join the Graham Norton show one day, or it could be a good old fashioned heartbreak.
Mr. Marten’s influences are mainly pop, jazz, funk and rock, which creates a different sound for each song.
He recorded his first EP in November, together with his band, and the first single will come out soon. Stay tuned!
MUCK is a 4-piece pop-rockcoverband from Den Dolder/Utrecht with years of experience. Ton van Dijk (bass), Joost Boxem (vocals), Emile van Veenendaal (drums) en Björn Velthuizen (guitar) perform big songs in a small line-up.
In 2017, MUCK won the final of the Clash of the Coverbands Benelux. Björn's guitar fingerpicking playing style was inspired by Mark Knopfler so he won't be throwing picks in the audience. Ton previously performed with the “Raggende Mannen” and pushes every gig with his bass rhythms. Emile previously played drums in the bands “Never Mind Music” and “Whatever”. Joost's voice is almost like Eddie Vedder's. All these musicians with their own style make MUCK to be a one of a kind band.
Muddy Grease is at the start of an exciting career in music. This five-piece fusion band can compare to the styles of Snarky Puppy, FORQ and Stuff. They write their own music that can't be categorized in one style. They create a tasteful combination of jfusion, funk and world with much use of electronic influences. Muddy Grease are four young dogs with a fascination for grooves and sounds. Screeching solos, interspersed with tasteful, beautiful themes are enhanced by rock-solid rhythm work.

The Molenaar (Miller) sisters Nadia & Jerney grew up in the North of Holland. Mum and dad aren’t quite sure where the talent came from, but somehow both girls ended up in music. Nadia is a singer/music teacher in high school and Jerney is a singer/vocal coach. They both write their own music and perform solo and with bands.
They normally help each other out with backing vocals but this year they decided to actually perform together as a duo. Accompanied by the guitar and piano they sing their own repertoire as well as covers by artists like Eva Cassidy, the Beatles, Jack Johnson and Caro Emerald
