The contagious pop songs of Amsterdam-based singer-songwriter Marieke Meijer find their heritage in a melting pot of genres. Soul, blues, rock and even reggae and country can be traced back in her original compositions.

In this new formation she’ll give shape to her own songs, as well as covers of vintage and modern popsongs. Her crystal-clear vocals and striking personality turn this night into a swinging and intimate show, in which both popular and nostalgic tunes will be presented in a fresh way. Marieke Meijer takes you on a trip through the history of popular music.

Rick Rosmalen and Bjorna Beijer were born and raised in Amsterdam, so the local music scene knows their faces all so well. Every 3th Tuesday of the month, this couple will be hosting the Waterhole Jam, allowing you to jump the stage and perform what comes to mind!

Rosita Loth is a passionate singer-songwriter who once started as a dancer. Now she is fully engaged with singing. She has played in various cover bands, talent shows and jam sessions. Since 2012 she had her own monthly jam session called JamRo in the Melody Line. Nowadays, this session has found a new home in The Waterhole, every first Tuesday of the month!

Rosita is currently working on her first EP in the style Smooth Jazz. In these songs, she tells about the cheeky sides of life, how hard life can be, and life in general.
Rosita Loth & Band is her cover band with which many different genres are covered: Dance Classics, Pop, Rock and contemporary top 40 songs. With her strong personality she exudes on stage and with her unique voice she takes you into the story and lets you dance on the well known sing-along songs.

Theo ‘Mosquito’ Tahitu, Albert ‘Buddy’ Lafontaine and Gregorio ‘Gregosaurus Rex’ Rangel will take you on a trip around the world. They incorporate their ‘Tex-Mex’ flavour in an eclectic mix of musical styles from all around the world. And tonight, you can join them on stage!

For this journey you don’t need a ticket to ride, just a whole lotta imagination. Whether Theo, Buddy and Greg take you to Jamaica, Cuba or California, they guarantee party pleasure. With a different guest musician at each gig, you can rest assured that their show will be fresh, original and packed with smiles all over.
