There are work horses and show horses. Rocktopussy definately belongs to the former. But their unbridled effort is always paired with a recognizable, powerful sound.

In the classic formation of drums, bass, guitar and vocals, this group of friends have been touring throughout The Netherlands for years and years. Bands like Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath, Howling Wolf and The Doors have clearly left their mark on the style of Rocktopussy. Even though the repertoire of the band from the city of Deventer consists of classic rock covers, their sound is instantly recognizable. Giving a unique twist on the music of legends, that’s what it’s all about for lead singer René Veldhoen, guitarist Bas Rutgers, bass player Dennis Paalman and drummer Michel Buijs. By now, these hard working blokes have brought their brawny rock to well over a hundred stages. And that’s the motto: to rock as much as possible!

Rose Marin is a singer-songwriter from The Netherlands. She has spent the last years pouring her heart and soul into her music. With her colourful voice and playing style, her songs combine elements of country, folk and pop. With influences such as Amos Lee and Chris Stapleton, her free spirit knows how to touch your heart. Her strong personality can be heard in a dynamic set with a variation of sounds.
Rose Marin has been performing from a very young age. Since her first gig in a small theatre, she has played at a lot of different venues, festivals and events. For example, she performed at MadNes Festival and Surfana Festival, NPO Radio 2 (Leo Blokhuis) and Altersonic (Eurosonic Noorderslag). She has been in line-ups with artists such as Miss Montreal, Waylon and Golden Earring.
Rose Marin is currently still doing a lot of performing and writing. She is now recording her debut EP, to be released in 2020. Her first single ‘Moving On’ will be released in November 2019. This song shares a personal, yet recognisable story about moving on from being under someone’s spell for too long.

Rough ’n Tumble is a Dutch rock band from The Hague, consisting of brothers Martin (vocals, guitar & harmonica) & Anton Moesker (guitar, vocals), Rick Finck (bass), and Rob Louwers (drums). The latter two have been touring with legend Link Wray.

Rough ’n Tumble has released two albums: ‘Going Places’ and ‘Live at the Wangbar’. They have achieved a solid reputation as a great liveband. In the Waterhole they will treat you to rock classics made famous by bands like the Stones, CCR, Springsteen, the Black Keys and so on. High energy rock ’n roll!
