Lust For Live is a rock-power trio, which consists of guitarist Nina Verkuil, bassist Bukkem Bukkus and drummer Sicko Octovianus.

They play familiar and not so familiar pop and rock covers with raw power and seemingly endless energy. At the moment they’re furiously working on their own repertoire. A few songs have already made it to the setlist. The name comes from their love for playing live. In their own unique way, they bring new life to covers from the sixties up until today. THE SAINT LOUIS (USA)-BORN R&B SINGER GREW UP TRAVERSING TWO MUSICAL PATHS. HER VIOLIN STUDIES BEGAN AT THE AGE OF THREE, FOCUSED IN LEARNING FIDDLE TUNES AND JAZZ REPERTOIRE OF CHARLIE “BIRD” PARKER, JOHN COLTRANE, AND VARIOUS ARRANGEMENTS OF CHARLES MINGUS. GIVEN HER PROWESS AND LOVE OF IMPROVISATION FROM A YOUNG AGE, HER MIDDLE SCHOOL THROUGH COLLEGE YEARS WERE RICH WITH VICTORIES AT ACCLAIMED JAZZ COMPETITIONS, OPENING PERFORMANCES, AND COLLABORATIONS FOR ARTISTS, SUCH AS EARTH WIND AND FIRE, THE ROOTS, THE EAGLES, ALISON KRAUSS, AND BILAL, AND MANY GRAND SCALE FESTIVAL PERFORMANCES.

HOWEVER, AFTER HER GRADUATION IN VIOLIN PERFORMANCE FROM THE PRESTIGIOUS MUSIC UNIVERSITY, BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC, SHE DECIDED TO TAKE A TURN OF COURSE INTO HER TRUE PASSION FOR SINGING. SHE BEGAN TO SING PROFESSIONALLY IN 2012, IMMEDIATELY AFTER GRADUATION, AND COLLABORATED ON MANY PROJECTS

LYDIA IS CURRENTLY RESIDING IN AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS, WHERE SHE CONTINUES TO COLLABORATE CLOSELY WITH ITALIAN MUSICIANS, AND IS EXPLORING NEW AVENUES IN HER NEW HOMETOWN.

The renowned guitarist Maarten Oonk has more than enough on his hands as it is. His much respected previous bands, for instance. Rumour has it he can even be heard on records by The Ramones, The Black Crows and The Outsiders.

Nevertheless he found the urge to take three random strangers from his hometown of Epe by the hand and welcome them into the magical world of rock ‘n roll. Strict, but fair, he raised them musically. The Waterhole is getting really lucky. The formation is more than ready. By random chance his three comrades share the same middle name: Rinaldo. Therefore, this illustrious collective has adopted the name Maarten & de Rinaldo’s.

This international Rockformation brings a tribute to the raw sound of the south of the United States. The repertoire consist of all time greatests by B.B. King, ZZ Top, Creedence Clearwater Revival, but also the British invasion has earned a spot io the wealthy setlist. So you can scream along with some Rolling Stones songs as well, like Jumping Jack Flash, Sympathy For The Devil and Angie.
