Coverband Flavor is a coverband that makes a celebration of any occasion. Dancing to the famous hits of yesterday and today, jumping on energetic anthems and sing along with the classics!
The project Folkamiseria formed in 2007 with the aim of mixing folk and rock music. Their repertoire has always been
influenced by several folk sources such as Irish and Piedmontese, French, Spanish, Eastern European and South Italian.
Their real strong point is the approach used to portray their music, both for captivating arrangements and powerful concerts. Their first studio album was produced after their first live bootleg in 2010, a self-published production named Festa Mobile.
It was an opportunity for the band to record some of their own compositions, which received positive reviews and visibility from both crowd and promoters: 2000 CDs sold in 2 years, several thousand views on YouTube and more than 200 gigs in the following 3 years, which led the band to appear as the opening act to famous artist such as Inti Illimani, Edoardo Bennato, Modena City Ramblers,Carlos Nuñez, Folkstone, Dubioza Kolektiv and many others.
After a Live Album in 2011 (3rd) and several compilations, in 2014 ‘twas the time for Folkamiseria to record another studio Album, almost based on original compositions, in which the band meshed several stylistic influences taken from band members’ different backgrounds. Hence the name of the album Musici Mosaici (Mosaic Musicians), published in May 2014 for Rox Records. The first single of the album, Pirati del Po’, led to the launch of the band’s first official videoclip on YouTube. This second studio album enabled
the band to take part in the best known folk and celtic Festivals in Italy: for next 2 years they performed in Montelago Celtic Festival, Busto Folk, Celtica, Celtival, Brintaal, Raggapiave, Irlanda in Festa, Festival Irlandese, Paddy’s, Abruzzo Irish Festival, Druidia and many others at more than 170 gigs, sharing the stage with famous artists such as Skerryvore, The Rumjacks, Corvus Corax, Hevia, Alberto Morselli, Cisco, Celkilt, Here Be Dragons among others.
In May 2016, due to the collaboration with OnAirish Agency and Festival Irlandese, an EP was published under the name of “The Irish Side of Piemonte” which contains 7 rearrangements of six famous Irish and Scottish tunes and one Piedmontese song.
In March 2017 the band released their new studio album, featuring national and international artists on original compositions. For the first time, the album is made compeltly with songs, especially in italian and dialect, mixed with a renewed use of instrumentals and modern contaminations.
On the 2018/2019 season the band started to collaborate with the newly formed KeltIT booking Agency, and released in December 2019 the “Irish Side of Piemonte vol.2” EP, reissuing it with the omonymous 2016 EP, now sold out, in order to giving birth to an actual LP of Traditional irish tunes in italian sauce, with some juicy extras!

Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nirvana till Anouk and Coldplay, and everything in between. Well-known and surprising pop and rock covers from the seventies, eighties and nineties, mixed effortlessly with the hits from today.
The band is fronted by lead singer Francis Handgraaf. Francis has a preference for rock, especially for artists with raw voices. She joined the group to make her rock heart beat a little faster.
Franck Carducci, a multi-instrumentalist (bass, piano, guitar, drums, etc.) rose in a family where music is a way of life. At young age he discovers Chuck Berry's ‘Rock 'n' Roll’, The Beatles and joins his first rock band. As time progresses, progressive rock will become his musical passion..
Between the ages of 20 and 30, he played with upwards of 20 different bands, and got involved in the recording of 15 different albums, including 2 with French female folk singer Yanne Matis. In 2008, Franck moves to Amsterdam where he gets into the local scene and performs regularly in the famous clubs of the city. He participates in several bands with styles varying between funk, soul, pop and rock music.
Then in 2010, a dream comes true: Franck opens a gig for one of his heroes, Steve Hackett (Genesis). This experience will convince Franck to focus on producing his own solo album: a genuine album, of his own, without concessions but being sincere. And there was ODDITY.
This debut album was widely acclaimed by the specialists of the genre, and it allowed Franck to tour throughout Europe. This success led Franck to release a second album – TORN APART – in which one of the highlights is the special guest participation of his mentor, Mr Steve Hackett himself.
This time Franck is back in town so he took the opportunity to gather some of his musical Amsterdam friends to join him on stage to perform the rockcovers that have inspired him.
