Welke tijd van het jaar het ook is, Wilmer ‘G-Cool’ Abraham neemt je mee naar een plek ver weg van hier. Van tropische stranden met palmbomen, witte stranden en Caribische ritmes tot de blues van het platteland en de urban soul en disco-funk van de grote stad.

G-Cool is een ware entertainer die niet weet wat 99% betekent. Het zweet op de fromtman’s voorhoofd tijdens het eerste nummer van de avond zegt alles. Zodra hij op het podium verschijnt geeft hij alles, waarmee ook het publiek een cardio-training krijgt waar je de volgende dag van zult profiteren!
Een avond met G-Cool is een avond waar je zeer zeker voor terug zult komen. Als je stil kunt blijven zitten, mankeert er iets aan je. De avond zal gevuld worden met funk, soul, reggae en caribbean (soca). De interactieve performance en beats vol energie is onmogelijk te omvatten in geschreven tekst.
G-Cool en zijn bandleden hebben flinke internationale ervaring, en zijn de hele wereld al over geweest.

Als je hartverwarmende composities en poëtische teksten met elkaar combineert, dan krijg je en mengsel van nadenkend tot ruw, van ontspannend tot intensief, die Gab&Gal in hun muziek verenigen. De West-Oostenrijkers verenigen hun eigen geproduceerde liedjes inmiddels met Bass, Piano en Elektrische-Gitaar. Met hun nieuwe album, dat begin 2017 verschijnt, slaan ze een nieuwe weg in. Met elektrische gitaren en synthesizers gewapend openen zich nieuwe mogelijkheden, welke zich in sferische liedjes weerspiegelen.

Georgetown is a multi-instrumental Bluebilly Folk Pop band from Pretoria South Africa. Formed in February 2014, the talented Michael de Villiers, Renaldo van Dyk, Rynier Prins and Tiaan Erasmus, have told their stories and shared their rhythms across mainstages, theatres and towns.

With their roots planted in the diverse Southern Africa, Georgetown is a captivating hybrid of the classics and unique local influences. They bring audiences together with the use of a variety of musical instruments during their performances, including acoustic guitar, piano, upright bass, mandolin, harmonica, a washboard and a 1935 suitcase, promising a distinctive and creative sound to contemporary and original folk music.

Georgetown’s first studio EP Banana Jack was released in 2016. In 2018 they released their first full length album called The Dog Show. In 2019 Georgetown receives a SAMA nomination for Best Contemporary Album.
