Mix the gritty, soulful vocals of Gene Potts with the guitar fire of Sal Marra, the pulsing bass of Anthony Flora, the war-hammer drums of Dave Halpern and the one-man festival that is Eric Safka on keys, and you get Colossal Street Jam. Colossal Street Jam is a 5 piece band based out of Red Bank, NJ that plays a 70’s style brand of infectious and melodic rock and roll. Colossal Street Jam’s November 2016 release “Living Free’ has garnered critical acclaim and has been featured in many music magazines worldwide and continues to get extensive radio play both locally and globally. In January of 2018, “Living Free” won the Australian Indie Album of the Year award for internet radio. Currently, the new singles “Just Take Hold” and "MAMA" are on the internet radio charts in Australia.

Common Royals is een pop/rockband die zich richt op pakkende rockcovers. Denk aan bands als The Foo Fighters, Wolfmother en AC/DC, maar ook covers van Melissa Etheridge en Skunk Anansie worden niet geschuwd. Kortom Common Royals staat voor een avond rock met passie!

Common Royals is begonnen als een samenwerking tussen Peter Kattenburg en Paul Franken. Snel werd duidelijk dat deze samenwerking smaakte naar meer. Dit resulteerde in een zoektocht naar goede muzikanten om de band de kwaliteit te geven die zij verdient. Met Marieke van Zwieten heeft Common Royals een dijk van een zangeres aangetrokken, die van alle markten thuis is. Na wat wisselingen op de wacht ligt de ritmesectie in handen van Martijn van Eeden en oud gediende Paul Franken. Om meer body aan het geheel te geven is een tweede gitarist aangetrokken in de vorm van Joost Hofstede en heeft de band haar huidige vorm gevonden.

Cooper Lower is an Australian singer/songwriter and acoustic guitarist. The troubadour’s youthful blend of acoustic folk, pop, soul/R&B has captured the hearts and minds of strangers throughout North America, Europe and Australia. An exquisite live performance pioneered by soaring vocal highs, sombre lows and a seamless symphony of percussive guitar and melody.

Cooper belongs to a generation of guitarists who are pushing the boundaries of the traditional acoustic guitar. This emerging wave of percussive fingerstyle guitar is mesmerising audiences across the world, and completely revolutionising the role of the solo acoustic guitarist.
“Although the guitar is a feature of my live show, I still consider the guitar to be accompanying role, no part of the composition bears more importance than the poetry”, he stated in an interview with Forte Magazine. The 19 year old also mentioned drawing poetic and instrumental influence from artists such as Mike Dawes, Dave Lau’pepe, John Butler, Lewis Watson and Hozier.
