“Mad, bad and dangerous to know.”

Cambridge based artist Archduke mixes devastating rock n’ roll with sultry vocals and splitting falsetto. His tightly written pop songs and energetic live show combine to bring you an evening that is jam packed full of entertainment.

In 2019 Archduke secured himself a place as a semi-finalist in the Northcote Records Common People competition in which Charlie Fink (Noah and the Whale) was one of the judges.

He has supported upcoming artists such as Sports Team, The Dunwells and Wild Front, as well as established acts like Mark Chadwick of The Levellers in venues like The Railway in Winchester, The Horn in St Albans, and The Fighting Cocks in Kingston.

Thomas Geelens feels passionate about playing guitar and singing pop music. He wants to portray life through his lyrics and music in a truthful way with a sense of hope. This refreshing positive view of music is welcome in our modern day. Interestingly, Thomas is from Maastricht, Netherlands but told us he plans to play his music and promote himself in the U.S.

His hometown, Maastricht, is a university town with a multicultural feel. The town is culturally and architecturally diverse from the beautiful old fortress to modern museums. Because it is close to both Belgium and Germany and has several universities and colleges, Maastricht has a large international and university age population. It also has a good, dynamic arts scene of music, performing arts, and visual arts to get involved with.

But it was Thomas’ 10 day visit to New York, USA, that inspired him to begin writing lyrics and singing more seriously. Since then he has been working to write and perform his own music. His inspiration in the music world is American singer-songwriter John Mayer because of his sound and authentic approach to music. He also likes Axl Rose of Guns N’Roses, Mark Knopfler, The Script, Don Henley of the Eagles, George Michael, and Colton Avery. Thomas is drawn to strong male vocals and soulful lyrics.

To date, Thomas has released several tracks, worked with up and coming producers and is working on his 2020 masterplan which includes releasing a new song every month!

Opeens waren ze daar. Binnen no-time groeide het Amersfoortse Three Little Clouds uit tot dé hotste band van Midden-Nederland. Het trio, inmiddels live uitgebreid tot een zevental, verovert in rap tempo de harten van opstandige tienermeisjes, hun vriendjes én hun moeders. Met hun opzwepende show toverden ze in 2017 festivalweides in het hele land om tot kolkende mensenmassa’s. En dat zonder nog maar één opname te hebben gemaakt.

Sinds 1 februari 2016 heeft de band een eigen huis op een Amersfoorts industrieterrein en wordt er non-stop aan hun party funk gewerkt. De band leeft als broeders bij elkaar en de ambitieuze muzikanten wijken geen moment van elkaars zijde. Dat enthousiasme, het onderlinge broederschap én hun talent maakt Three Little Clouds tot een ongekend aanstekelijke band. In 2018 verschijnen de eerste singles en wordt er nog veel uitgebreider getourd, van huiskamer tot festival. Trek je dansschoenen aan, je shirt uit en funk it up!

Time Flies is een rasechte funkband uit Amsterdam, bestaande uit liefst tien (!) bandleden.

Drie vocalisten die lead- en achtergrondvocalen met het grootste gemak afwisselen, drie blazers voor de broodnodige accenten, oer-funky gitaar en toetsen, en een stevige ritmesectie. Op het repertoire staat uiteraard vette funk, maar ook de misschien nog wel vettere funk-rock variant. En natuurlijk glijdt er zo nu en dan ook een lekkere soulslijper voorbij. Kortom, muziek voor de liefhebber. Je kunt erbij dansen, je kunt erbij swingen, je kunt er zelfs bij stofzuigen. Maar wat je er zeker niet bij kunt is stilstaan. Tip: trek gemakkelijke schoenen aan.
