Stupid Bloody Tuesday is een Amsterdamse indie rock band met veel punk invloeden. Geïnspireerd door bands als Wolf Alice, Kasabian en Sex Pistols spelen ze al zo’n jaar op verschillende plekken in Nederland, België en Duitsland. Hun eerste single ‘Talking to a Wall’ , geïnspireerd door al hun muzikale invloeden, brachten ze uit in september 2018.

Subterranean Street Society is de artiestennaam van een van de meest getalenteerde straatmuzikanten van Amsterdam. Zijn podium is doorgaans de pleinen van de stad, maar vanavond heeft hij de bühne van The Waterhole tot zijn beschikking.

Hij haalt zijn inspiratie uit artiesten als Towns Van Zandt, Radiohead, Feist, Neil Young, The Beatles en Bob Dylan. Met zijn moeiteloze gitaarspel en geraffineerde songteksten steekt hij met kop en schouders boven de andere ‘buskers’ in de stad uit. De troubadour en romanticus pur sang begeeft zich graag tussen de uiteenlopende karakters die loslopen op de straten van Amsterdam. Toch zijn we maar wat blij dat hij vanavond een indoor-optreden speelt!

Suburban Symphony formed in January 2014 and they aim to write catchy songs with memorable vocal melodies, three part harmonies and driving beats. The 5 piece formed from bands such as Bashphelt, Pipeline, Stilts and Gizesque. Therefore, their previous experience enabled them to get up and running quickly and by October 2014, the band had written 14 songs prompting them to start recording their debut album. The band play in North West England where they hail from. However, in 2016 they also enjoyed relative success further afield by playing at Camden Rocks Festival (on the same line up as bands such as The Cribs, Sikth and Carl Barat & The Jackals) and Lowde Fest supporting The Feeling. Deze in Amsterdam gevestigde funk-rockband vindt inspiratie in bands als The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machine, Maroon 5, The Foo Fighters and The Beatles.

Al deze muzikale bagage heeft geleid tot een gloednieuwe EP. Ümit Kiliç (zang / gitaar), Tom Ruys (bas) en Rutger Genser (drums) zijn hard op weg. Hun muziek is een mengelmoes van strakke funkritmes, catchy pop- en rock-melodieën, oude blues, soul, reggae en jazz. Dit alles maakt het een heerlijk eclectische show, die even toegankelijk als verrassend is voor ieder publiek.
