De meeste leden van Shaking Patsy kennen elkaar al sinds de middelbare school. Het viertal speelde sindsdien in verschillende formaties en is nu als viertal op podia in Amsterdam en omgeving te bewonderen.

Het repertoire bestaat uit pop- en rockcovers. Shaking Patsy richt zich voornamelijk op herkenbare nummers van artiesten als Bryan Adams, Muse, The Cranberries, Skunk Anansie, AC/DC, Oasis, The Killers en nog veel meer. Daarnaast is de band constant bezig met het schrijven van eigen materiaal. Leadzangeres Jolijn en haar drie trouwe kompanen zijn nu gemotiveerder dan ooit om podia in en om Amsterdam te voorzien van hun opgewekte shows. Dansen gegarandeerd!

Shaun O'Reilly might be familiar to progressive rock music fans as a half of “War Elephant”, a pair of musicians who recorded challenging, creative music and toured the UK and Ireland extensively. However, Shaun’s fondness for blues, folk and Americana led him to jump on the opportunity to pursue a solo career and express his passion for roots music and contemporary singer-songwriting. Shaun's vivid blend of storytelling echoes the work of beat authors such as Charles Bukowski, William S. Burroughs and more modern authors such as Irvine Welsh. His words are poignant and poetic, yet down to earth and extremely easy to relate to. His recent EP, “Vultures & Wine” is a bittersweet collection of tunes that blur the lines between the melancholic mellowness of Elliott Smith and the blues bark of artists like Captain Beefheart.

After fronting the band Seven Handle Circus for several years, being featured on Conan, People, Paste & GuitarWorld, climbing the Americana Radio Charts, and supporting bands Mumford and Sons, Better than Ezra, and Zack Brown Band, Shawn Spencer ventures into alternative rock, with his new project.
"7HC was a beautiful thing that just kind of happened... we were a bunch of guys who started jamming and ended up with what was quickly becoming a very successful touring career. But in the end it was more than some had bargained for and they wanted to settle down. Me... I'm just not prepared to settle".
The first move was hitting the studio and making a record with producer Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum selling producer Billy Hume (Ludacris, Ying-Yang Twins, Infamous Stringdusters).

Northern Ireland-born, North London-based Shea Rafferty is a singer/songwriter with stories to share. Drawing influence from legendary American giants of song Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen, as well as contemporary artists such as Ryan Adams and War On Drugs, Shea is fast acquiring a reputation as a distinctive, singular voice on the UK’s Americana gig circuit. Having debuted with a self-titled four track EP in 2015, Shea recently travelled to Portland, Oregon to record his debut album, made up of brand new material with Gregg Williams (Jesse Malin/Blitzen Trapper) and Troy Stewart (Tired Pony/The Windsor Player).

The late Nashville songwriter Harlan Howard once defined the ingredients of a great song as “three chords and the truth”, but the success of that deceptively simple formula relies upon the songwriter’s willingness to crack open their sternum, pull out their heart and place it on the table for the whole world to see. With his strongest set of songs to date, Shea is ready to face that challenge.

Embedded in North London’s fertile musical community, Shea called upon the services of Animal Kingdom drummer Geoff Lea to produce his self-titled EP. Lea also appeared, alongside Snow Patrol/Little Matador guitarist Nathan Connolly, in the video for the EP’s lead track 'Part Of The Game'. Shea Rafferty's debut LP, 'To The Morning Sky', was released on 6th December 2019, and builds upon this early promise, showcasing a compelling, engaging new talent with a vision and voice all his own.

Sher is a singer/songwriter/entertainer from Nijmegen, The Netherlands. She was born in Nijmegen but was raised in Buren (Gelderland) by her Australian born mother en Belgian born father.

Sher is mostly known for her low, warm but raspy voice, her enthousiasm, her ability to have fun with any kind of crowd, her massive repertoire of covers and originals, her skills to switch from a very intimate gig to a party show and of course her love of beer, travelling and cats.

Sher studied History in Nijmegen and is about to finish her studies as a music manager.

She loves to travel around the country, to play at festivals, pubs, weddings, theaters, backyards any other location you can think of and with any artist you can think of.

Besides lots of wonderful gigs in The Netherlands, she now travels a lot, with her guitarplayer Pelle, all around the world.
They play in Egypt every 4 months and they have been playing in Australia, France, Iceland, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Bonaire, Curaçao, Belgium, Italy and many other places to come like Aruba, England and Austria.

She also has many original songs, inspired by artists like: Fleetwood Mac, Beth Hart, Cara Dillon and The Beegees and if you listen closely, you will always hear a touch of rock, folk, powervocals and lots of humour in her songs.
