I Musicanti di Brahma: een project begonnen in 2016 door de italiaanse songwriter C’esco Bertoletti. Muziek vol energie, een krachtig rijk geluid waar verschillende vibes een plaats vinden, varierend van typische rock en folk met akoestische en electrische instrumenten zoals gitaren, viool en drums tot etnische instrumenten zoals de didgeridoo, bouzouki, banjo of de baglama.

In mei 2017 werd het eerste album uitgebracht met als title ‘Mutazione, profondità in superficie’, gevolgd door de singles ‘Macchia di Rosa’ en ‘Mutazione’. In de zomer van hetzelfde jaar stond de band in het voorprogramma van bands als: Gli Statuto, Folkabbestia, Gazebo Pinguin en Espana Circo Este.
In juli 2018 werd de EP ‘Manifest’ met 4 nieuwe nummers op de belangrijkste Italiaans muziekkanalen uitgebracht. Ook werd de band geselecteerd uit 150 andere artiesten voor een optreden tijdens het 1 mei concert op het San Giovanni plein in Rome, één van de grootste gratis festivals in Italie. In September 2018 was de band in Nederland voor een festival in Wageningen (100 jarig bestaan universiteit) en werden toen gevraagd in 2019 terug te komen voor het Bevrijdingsfestival aldaar.

The Molenaar (Miller) sisters Nadia & Jerney grew up in the North of Holland. Mum and dad aren’t quite sure where the talent came from, but somehow both girls ended up in music. Nadia is a singer/music teacher in high school and Jerney is a singer/vocal coach. They both write their own music and perform solo and with bands.

They normally help each other out with backing vocals but this year they decided to actually perform together as a duo. Accompanied by the guitar and piano they sing their own repertoire as well as covers by artists like Eva Cassidy, the Beatles, Jack Johnson and Caro Emerald

Stap 1 van de muziek van Nate Hancock is zeker een down-to-earth-gevoel. Maar dat is slechts het topje van de ijsberg. Nate & co. mengen een combinatie van funky, bluesy, poppy, ritmische en rockende ingrediënten en nemen de luisteraar mee op een upbeat muzikale ervaring. De eerste single ("Land Funk", 2014) is een schoolvoorbeeld van de originele manier waarop Nate & the Declaration de grote verscheidenheid van invloeden artistiek samenbrengen. Denk aan een mix van RHCP, SRV, Hendrix, Dylan, Nirvana, en ga zo maar door.

For years nothing happened and no significant progress had been made. They longed for a new sound, a more natural sound. It was time for some new inspiration. With that in mind ‘Mr Montego’ and ‘King Robbie’ started out on their search for a new Reggae Band.
Based in Amsterdam, the group expanded steadily and by now The Natural Progression count 11 members. Driven by a passion for Roots and Dub Reggae and inspired by their Jamaican heroes of old (Gregory Isaacs, Jacob Miller, Hugh Mundell and of course Bob Marley) they started writing their own songs, a blend of original sounds, heavy basslines and spiritual lyrics. Rastafari plays a big role in the life of these young artists and obviously that resonates through their music. Also on stage, the positive energy radiates from The Natural Progression and under guidance of frontman and lead singer Daniel ‘Mr. Montego’ Kroonenberg, one soon finds him or herself wandering off to a place where standing still is virtually impossible

Het neongekleurde 'Birdo ft. Steefje trio' voegde zich in het najaar van 2015 bij producentenduo 'Smulders b2b van Dijk'.
Een collectief was geboren...

New Bliss is een Nederlands Alternative Pop/Rock trio met eigen werk. De band bestaat uit Renske en haar tweelingbroers Jelle en Jochem. Momenteel studeren alle bandleden aan een muziekopleiding (Rockcity Institude Eindhoven & Conservatorium van Amsterdam). Jelle (Drums) en Jochem (Bass) vormen de ritmesectie van de band. Dat deze tweeling op elkaar ingespeeld is, behoeft geen uitleg. Renske neemt de gitaar en zang voor haar rekening. Podiumervaring heeft de band tot in extremen. Op 20 maart 2018 stond frontvrouw Renske samen met de Amerikaanse band 30 Seconds to Mars in de Ziggo Dome voor 17.000 man. (#3fmguitargod)

5 years ago singer Wayne Moen, bassist Marc Sokpolie,
Guitarist Heyn Linger and drummer Patrick Wiebers were recording their own music in one of the group projects they had back then- TurboMonster. They had had several musical projects, played all around the Netherlands but also Belgium, France, Germany, and far away places like Dubai.
All of them are avid Prince fans, (each member has his favourite Prince album) and moreover: all members are well versed in the music that was influential to Prince, like Jimi Hendrix, Larry Graham, Santana, Patrice Rushen, Curtis Mayfield, the Isley Brothers. When Wayne was asked if he knew a group that could perform Prince songs on an annual Prince party, held by the Dutch Prince Fanclub, he dryly responded ‘of course’. When they sat down to talk repertoire they immediately discussed the more obscure tracks. The popular tracks- Kiss, Purple Rain, Raspberry Beret, weren’t even an issue. Of course we’ll play the hits, we’ve already played them dozens of times. But what about Pop Life?
What about Darling Nikki? What about Alphabet street? If we are going to play Prince songs to real Prince fans we need to hit ‘em with the realness…
As the repertoire grew, the agenda grew and the band also grew, 2 keyboardists and horn players were added.

Then there was that fateful day in 2016.

Word got out that Prince had passed away. The group members called each other frantically, hoping that any of them would say that it was all a hoax, Prince still being alive and well at Paisley park. Sadly, none of them did.

Next gig on the agenda was the annual festival from Dutch Prince party/fanclub Welcome 2 Rotterdam.
It was a very special, emotional night. Prince fans from all over Europe had gathered. At the time the band started playing the club was filled with Dutch fans, Belgians, French, Spanish, Italian, German, British, Irish and even Bulgarian fans, and the energy they had experienced at so many Prince concerts, in and outside the Golden Circle at numerous venues- seemed to manifest itself for one final time, in memory of the Purple One. It was tears, smiles, and good vibes all night, and it proved to be a defining night for the band. It gave them a sense of purpose.
They don’t need to try and be Prince. They just play Prince’s material in the way it inspired them all these years. The audience starts dancing and singing along. Raw energy congregates and a great night ensues. Happens all the time !

The group received positive messages from former Prince band member Morris Hayes and others, via mail and on their Facebook site.

New on the band’s to-do-list is a collaboration with superstar DJ and VJ Krewcial, where they extend the live show to a full night's Prince Bash with Krewcial’s exclusive edits from Prince’s music catalog, all synced to original music videos, live footage, album artwork and pictures. Krewcial mixes both the hits as lesser known material, as long as it’s danceable. Essential experience for Prince fans old and new.

Newspaper Taxi maakt van een huiskamerconcert een feest en geeft een feest de intimiteit van een huiskamer. Songs van The Beatles, soms in verrassende arrangementen en soms dichtbij het origineel gespeeld.

Zippora Tieman, Kyle de la Porte en René de la Porte nemen het (vaak meerstemmige) zangwerk voor hun rekening met soms een volle band als begeleiding en soms alleen een gitaartje. Remco Pol wisselt af tussen drums, cajon of alleen een klein percussie instrumentje.
