Roast Apple (Ger)
More details

ROAST APPLE is the new poster boy for honest, fresh and danceable indie pop from the Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Their new EP YOUNG HEARTS holds musical, what the title promises. Four boys, all in their early 20s, who tell about their lives, loves, and celebrations of their generation.

ROAST APPLE release an energy on stage you don't see very often. You must have seen it once, as the four young northern lights with their sweaty shirts and high guitars are dancing on the stage, accompanied by disco-like drums, oppressive bass, a wall of synths and a light weight like there's no tomorrow more. By the Skanadalös Festival at the Danish border to the Expo world fair in Milan ROAST APPLE occurred on numerous stages and could earn himself Rockpalast TV appearances such as in the WDR their nationwide fan base.

Robert Jay Band + special guests
More details

Two decades ago the thousands of regular listener of Frits Spits’s popular radioshow, got their daily treat to the song “Red Bullet”. A song which not only Frits Spits made into his feel-good favorite ‘hit tip’ but also turned out to become an absolute national succes for the Robert Jay Band.

The endless airplay on that radioshow resulted into a great musical stimulus for the band, originated in the Dutch region of Twente.

After numerous changes to the band, in 2017 the circle is completed and the new Robert Jay Band has become a reality. With top notch musicians, this time Robert stays within his own musical framework, by doing covers, next to self composed songs. But without any doubt, these will stir many new, as well as recapture all of his former believers.

This spring Robert is hosting a series of Sunday-shows in Cafe the Waterhole, where he will be inviting different special guests every week.
