Moonshiners (Por)
More details

Being the result of a tumultuous relationship between a musical restlessness and the privilege of its pleasure, Moonshiners, Gamblin’ Sam (vocals and harp), Susie Filipe (drums) and Victor Hugo (vocals and guitar), were born at the beginning of 2011 in Aveiro, Portugal.
Influenced by almost all the music that has crossed their path, one can hear echoes from Robert Johnson or Muddy Waters, but also from Morphine or Violent Femmes. Moonshiners’ songs draw their own image from the street corners and hidden alleys, red-light districts and taverns, down-town attics with low ceilings and windows facing the dawn.
In October of 2013, Moonshiners hit the road and their first EP is released, “Moonshiners”, six original tracks about whisky and beer, endless talks between God and the devil and wandering requiems to love gone bad. With their first EP inside a car’s trunk, Moonshiners played live at different festivals across the country, such as Jardins Efémeros, Vagueira Surf Fest and Offbeatz, among others.
2015 begins with good news and the launching of their first album, "Good news for girls who have no sex appeal" (with special guest Paul Furtado – The Legendary Tigerman), reveals a more experienced band, pointing in different directions and seeking new ways of doing what they love to do. The electrifying atmosphere of songs such as "24 roundabout blues" or "Slower than a Cadillac & faster than a Mustang" cohabit with the more melodic and swinging mood of "Louie" or "Let's grow fat together". "Man on wire" is this album first single and was turned into a video-clip.
Throughout songs written for sensitive men and hard-hearted women, Moonshiners present themselves as smugglers of melodies and emotions who will certainly shine as much or even more than the full moon in their visceral and galvanizing performances. From here to eternity: Moonshiners

Morrès
More details

Morrès is a Dutch rock-trio from Arnhem-Nijmegen, founded in 2013.

Johan Volman: Bass & keys
Thomas Calis: drums & backing vocals
Anco Koens: guitars & lead vocals

A powerful rhythm section with strong vocals and melodic guitar lines, lots of energy and dynamics, from powerful rock songs to fragile ballads. The Police meets Muse.

Highlights are a live performance on national radio at Veronica’s Countdown Café and the release of the album Still in 2015 en A good day in 2017.

With the addition of drummer Thomas in 2016 Morrès became the rock-trio they are now. New music was written for the next EP called A Good Day containing 5 songs.
A Good Day has become an EP with 4 rock tracks and a ballad. Generally the music has a cheerful, energetic fibe. The lyrics however are about subjects like loss but at the same time they are an ode to life itself.
The EP was presented in LuxorLive in Arnhem on September 15 2017. Along with the worldwide release of the record the single “Once” was launched..

In 2017 Morrès and guitarist Matt Willems teamed up for another new project:, organizing a tour in Germany – and some performances in the Netherlands.
Matt and Anco have known each other for years and have worked together in bands and projects before. Since Matt lives in Germany, the connection with a project in Germany was of course quickly made.
Recently, Morrès and Matt decided to separate this project from Morrès under the name Super Traveller.

Morrès is now working on new material and preparing for upcoming gigs.
Stay tuned!

Morrissey & Marshall (UK)
More details

A couple of years ago, Darren Morrissey and Greg Marshall arrived in London from Dublin with two
acoustic guitars and a headful of shared dreams. They set about hauling themselves up the hard way
from the rough and tumble of street corner busking and open-mic nights to playing at some of the
best venues and recording studios in the city. Now it's all about to kick off with the release of
their second album, We Rise, a hard-hitting, high-kicking, rock & roll band production that reflects this
period of profound personal and musical growth. While their debut, And so it Began, won them plaudits
as the finest pair of harmony singers to have emerged on the circuit for decades, Morrissey & Marshall
have now upped their game with a new collection of songs to rival those of the very greatest groups.
With its epic production and seamless combination of vocal, instrumental and songwriting prowess,
We Rise echoes a tradition of mainstream excellence stretching from Oasis all the way back to the
Beatles, no less.

The words and sounds of Morrissey & Marshall are spreading rapidly.
Whatever happens next, the band are already owners of two of the biggest names in rock, a
coincidence which prompted one MC to suggest that they might sound like “a heavily-amplified Smiths
gig”. Morrissey smiles at the reference to their namesakes. “We have never pretended to be anyone
other than Darren Morrissey and Greg Marshall. It’s who we really are.”
Marshall says “But we don’t give a shit about the industry or where it’s going or who’s involved or what’
s cool on social media and all that stuff. We love playing music and singing. To make a living out of it...
that’s magical. From the name of the band, to the writing, to the live performance, the whole thing has
always been honest..”

Muck
More details

MUCK is a 4-piece pop-rockcoverband from Den Dolder/Utrecht with years of experience. Ton van Dijk (bass), Joost Boxem (vocals), Emile van Veenendaal (drums) en Björn Velthuizen (guitar) perform big songs in a small line-up.

In 2017, MUCK won the final of the Clash of the Coverbands Benelux. Björn's guitar fingerpicking playing style was inspired by Mark Knopfler so he won't be throwing picks in the audience. Ton previously performed with the “Raggende Mannen” and pushes every gig with his bass rhythms. Emile previously played drums in the bands “Never Mind Music” and “Whatever”. Joost's voice is almost like Eddie Vedder's. All these musicians with their own style make MUCK to be a one of a kind band.
