After 2 years the VENHILL Rock Band is ready to rumble. A lot of messing around, playing some more and a sold-out Release Show in Gebr. The Nobel, the image of the band is now formed. A face that is describes as Grunge-Rock meets Psych-Punk. Hard, raw songs with feeling for catchy hooks and a bashing punk-heart.

Bathed in a raw haze of trippy sounds you hear sharp Grunge-Punk Riffs. Behind space effects, female singer Jaro shows the rear of her throat, supported by edgy-backing vocals. VENHILLL rmashes, spits, pushes, pulls and shrieks without losing focus. Moshen, jumping, screaming along or dream away. VENHILL want you to do all that you want, because that is what they do.

For over two decades Voodoo Swing has been blowing audiences away with their unique, hard hitting brand of roots, rockabilly, and blues music. As 2016 begins to unfold, the band finds itself fully hitting its stride with a new album, and major tours planned for the upcoming year.
Founded in 1993 in Salt Lake City, Utah, Voodoo Swing has put out 7 albums, two singles, appeared on numerous compilation albums, and toured the world extensively. 2016 finds founding member, singer, guitar player, and song writer, “Shorty” Kreutz teaming up with long time member Tommy Collins on the upright bass, and newcomer Walter Spano manning the drum duties. Arguably the most potent trio that Voodoo Swing has ever had, this group is ready to hit 2016, and hit it hard!
One of the standout rockabilly acts to come out of the rockabilly revival of the early 1990’s, Voodoo Swing’s first album, “We’re Usin’ Code Names” was released on the legendary British rockabilly/psychobilly label, Nervous Records. This stellar first effort brought Voodoo Swing to the attention of roots music fans all over the world. Their sophomore album, “Well, Okay Then,” released on Holland’s “Rockhouse” label continued the momentum that Voodoo Swing was building all over the world. In 1998, personal circumstances lead to Voodoo Swing ending that era, with the three original members going on to do other musical projects.

End 2017, the band released their first EP: Pulse. The EP consists entirely of original songs and is self-recorded.

Nineties stadium rock that you’ll rarely hear this good. The Amsterdam coverband Waste takes audiences back to the haydays of Guns N’ Roses, Radiohead and Metallica.
But you’ll find much more on the huge repertoire of this four-piece. U2, The White Stripes, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Lenny Kravitz can also frequently be found on the setlist. The band was founded by a group of friends, who organised a weekly jam session in the rehearsal space of Rock Supplies in Amsterdam. Nowadays, singer / guitarist Ramon van Loon, lead guitarist Onno Postma, bass player Peter van der Linden and drummer Charles Doornbos play regularly in the greater Amsterdam area. The formation reached national success when they reached the final of the renowed Clash of the Coverbands competition.
