Whatever
More details

Brothers Jip and Pim Frank founded the band Whatever almost a quarter of a century ago. Their attitude was - and still is - clear and simple: no bullshit, just good old rock ‘n roll. Nothing more, nothing less.

For some time now, the band has expanded to a four-piece. Bass player Jip and drummer Pim are joined by guitar player Symen Verbrugge and singer Roos Drost. The group’s now at full strength. Together, they bring their interpretations of rock ‘n roll from the sixties and seventies. Those were the times that rock ‘n roll really meant something. Songs by icons like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Kinks en Deep Purple have all managed to nestle themselves in the instantly recognizable repertoire of this quartet. Golden oldies, nobody can withstand.

Whiskey Kiss (USA)
More details

Whiskey Kiss is all grown up. What started as a sweet, rockabilly-influenced act has morphed into a straight-up roots rock band with vintage flair and edgy kicks. The result is a classic backbone driven in a modern direction: Retro.Revamped.

Their new record is exactly that: the retro groove is there, but they spice it up with aggressive guitars, kinetic energy, and high powered vocals that pack a punch. The best things about this band is their versatility. Each track on the album brings something new. From “Keep it to Myself”, the powerful guitar-driven single with the deceptively pure lyrics, to “Vixen” the sexy, Cramps-influenced surf number, to “All You Need” a jumping, rockabilly tune with sprinkled swing, every song on this album celebrates the sounds of a bygone era, but makes it accessible to the modern listener.
Whiskey Kiss has been stirring things up since 2012, and have nicely settled into a groove with a revamped lineup. Niki White, lead vocals, has come into her own as a performer and songwriter. The tracks on this new record are edgier and catchier, and her vocals keep up. Her husband, Nick White’s move to guitar from bass drives this new sound: his gritty guitar tone and bluesy melodies are a great matchup. Tommy Collins, the acrobatic upright bass player, has matured as well, and this album proves his musicality is just as strong on the electric. Bruce Legge, original member, has become a multi-instrumentalist adding saxophone and flugelhorn to his trumpet and trombone skills, and Michael Robinson, drums, makes his recording debut that is driving and tasteful.

Yellow Radio (Fra)
More details

"Hailing from the cityscapes of Paris in France, Pop/Rock recording artists, Yellow Radio, has been hitting the ground running when guitarist/lead vocalist, Jon Du, met his fellow band member/bassist, Valery Pelligrini, in 2010 at a London park where the duo began to manifest into a musical outfit together.

The name Yellow Radio came to the surface when Jon Du was about 15 years of age and was staying with family members for a summer duration; where he had to somehow find solace in a tiny room he was given to sleep in. In that room, however, was a tiny yellow radio where he discovered The Rolling Stones and The Beatles; an event that would soon change the course of his life for his love and insatiable passion for music.

Though these two particular artists set the groundwork for Jon, the band is also influenced by other mainstream heavyweights such as Kings of Leon, The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, among many more.

So far, Yellow Radio has released 2 albums; beginning with their debut, "Rolling The Dice" in 2012, and "Night Life" in 2016. Both which have garnered the band critical acclaim and positive reception. Yellow Radio has also graced many stages in Paris; including the Bus Palladium, a venue where The Rolling Stones played in their debut and beginnings.

Currently, the band is working on the 3rd album effort and have a lineup of several shows coming up in Paris for September and beyond. Yellow Radio is also earning a respective internet fan base. To keep up with all prospects of Yellow Radio's future in the shortcoming; including News, New Music, Shows, and regular Updates, be sure to connect with them via Social Media and Music Streaming platforms as they continue to write, perform, and expand their sound as their fan base keeps growing."
