2Hot2Funk is a collaboration of four local session-musicians, who played together in countless projects in the Amsterdam area and far beyond. With this one, they keep the funklevel high, with plenty of room for classics.
Frontman Gregorio ‘Gregosaurus-Rex’ Rangel is the bass player of the notorious Amsterdam band Mosquito, Venezuelan metal band Laberinto and many other groups. In this 2hot2funk-formation he takes up the role of frontman, singing the lead vocals. Santanico-frontman Marco Toro’s one of the finest drummers you’ll find in Amsterdam. He and Gregorio take care of the rhythm section, Marcos Gomez completes the group on keys and vocals, and the leadguitar will be played by the one and only Pablo Minolli, de ex-guitarplayer in Laberinto, Ali B and Brainpower (amongst others). An eclectic allstar-collective with a great arsenal of material: classic rock, reggae and soul are all laced with some fat funk.

This Irish folkband with a broad repertoire is always surprising and a bit stubborn. From Irish to Amercan, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Christy Moore, Luka Bloom, The Pogues, jigs, pubsongs and ballads. Plus everything you will and won’t expect in between.
Aside from the big cover-repertoire, the band has chosen their own folk-path with original songs in a typical style.
The ‘Good old boys’ of Daddy-O will guarantee a party for all ages, no-nonsense folk that will allow everything but doesn’t obligate anything. No pub is too small and no event too big, Daddy-O will make an Irish party you won’t forget.
With no less than 14 instruments and 5 musicians this show will be vibrant form start till end.
Songs you hoped never to hear again, and classics you forgot the title of, but know like the back of your hand nevertheless. We don’t know any of those.
De Cassetteband, formerly known as De Boot Gemist, formerly known as De Roestige Spijkers, formerly known as De Timmermannen is back from never being gone at all. The band plays songs from back in the day and now. As long as you can recognize them after exactly ten seconds. And just like a real cassette tape, sometimes they go on the blink and it usually takes a little time before they start the second half. Bob Wiebes, Celeste Stroganovski, Marnix La Gro, Michiel Hoffman and Tim van Hardeveld form this new band from Haarlem. After some changes in personnel, De Cassetteband has now a fixed line-up. The repertoire consists of forgotten gems by artists like Tina Turner, Phil Collins, The Darkness, Lionel Richie and Hans de Booij. Guaranteed to make you dance!
Dublin-based DELORENTOS are currently being hailed as one of Ireland’s finest and most imaginative bands.
The band drifted together in the usual fashion… inspired by boredom, creative energy, and a passion for music – obvious reference points are Pixies, The Cure, The Clash and Arcade Fire; more oblique influences slide in from most genres of music and virtually every decade from the 50s onwards. Over a period of time that saw others attempt to tie down a description of their sound, they holed up in the wilds of Portrane, Co Dublin and concentrated on writing songs, pure and simple. They had no interest in the frills and fripperies or the empty bombast that occupy other bands; for them it has always been about 4 people communing to harness honest emotion, fashion melodic hooks, and roll out infectious rhythms.
Suffice it to say the band’s self-released third album (and third consecutive Top 10 charting album in Ireland), Little Sparks (on their own Delorecords label) has been hailed as their best music to date. It is packed with a beautiful balance of gutsy, melodic guitar songs riddled with harmonies, pure pop moments, and more reflective, building soundscapes.
The Irish media greeted its release with a rake of 4 and 5 star reviews:
“The sound of a band who have found their musical and lyrical groove.” Irish Times
“One of the finest Irish releases of recent times!” www.entertainment.ie
“Uniformly fabulous!” www.state.ie
“Last November’s EP hinted that Delorentos had some new tricks up their sleeve, but it didn’t fully prepare the listener for the quality and consistency of this hugely assured album.” Irish Independent
Since 2007 Delorentos have released three critically acclaimed albums; 2007’s In Love With Detail, nominated for Best Album at both the Choice Music Prize and the Meteor Awards, 2009’s You Can Make Sound, which as well as hitting number 2 in the Irish charts won Entertainment.ie’s Album of the Year; and 2012’s Little Sparks. As well as their recording success, Delorentos have always been a touring band, and since 2007 have played extensively in Ireland, as well as the UK, Europe and North America.
The rest is yet to unfold, pay rapt attention!
Delorentos are Kieran, Ross, Ro and Níal.
Bristol based Elles Bailey (28) seamlessly weaves rootsy blues, country and soulful rock with a contemporary edge and her trademark ‘smoky vocals’ taking the lead. Her husky toned, lived-in voice sounds like she has a 60-a-day habit, but was actually caused by a serious illness when she was three. Her two EP's, both produced by Brian Banks, (Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie) 'Who I Am To Me' (Feb 2015) and 'The Elberton Sessions' (Oct 2016) were released to critical acclaim, and her debut album is set to drop Spring 2017.
No stranger to the scene, over the last three years, this captivating, hard-working songstress and her talented band have built up a loyal all-age fan base through relentless touring, through both the UK and Europe. She’s opened for acts like Wille & The Bandits and shared festival line-ups with Lisa Simone, The Mystery Jets & Wilko Johnson.
In fact, 2017 looks set to be a very busy year for Elles with over 30 dates scheduled in the run up to her debut album release in April. Her festival diary is also filling up very quickly. Elles will feature at The Great British Rock and Blues Festival in Skegness and will be opening for soul singer Jo Harman on her February tour before heading back into Europe in Spring 2017.
Like many artists today, Elles is breaking down the barriers of traditional genres, taking inspiration from many and fusing them together to bring you her own unique sound, which is earning her a legion of devoted fans, young and old, from across the UK and further afield.
Funky Good Time is a swinging, nine-piece cover band with a passion for soul and funkycovers of back then and now: Stevie Wonder, Prince, Joss Stone and Jamiroquai. The formation has a horn section and plays the songs with a poppy edge.
At the express request of fans, the band has had a restart in 2011. From that moment the musicians have a click and there is no stopping. The singers are on stage Irene and Merel accompanied by seven enthusiastic band members: Aad on guitar, Koen on keys, John on bass, Tommy on drums, Peter on tenor sax, Rosanne on alto sax and Jan on trumpet.
Passion for funk, soul and grooves binds the musicians, and they are happy to commit to any party.

Lust For Live is a rock-power trio, which consists of guitarist Nina Verkuil, bassist Bukkem Bukkus and drummer Sicko Octovianus.
They play familiar and not so familiar pop and rock covers with raw power and seemingly endless energy. At the moment they’re furiously working on their own repertoire. A few songs have already made it to the setlist. The name comes from their love for playing live. In their own unique way, they bring new life to covers from the sixties up until today. Get ready and hold on tight!
Plunck is an authentic and superb cover band that keeps the dancefloor crowded all night. The band has a wide-ranging repertoire, consisting of tunes from the eighties until now.
From Marvin Gaye to Phil Collins, but modern day heroes, such as Bruno Mars and Adam Lambert as well. Plunck has something for everyone. Their common love for music is what brought the band members together. And it shows, because the crowd is always left wanting more. Plunck guarantees a raw and catchy music experience. Their exuberantly energetic performance will make every hip in the room shake!
Pogo-a-Gogo is a energetic cover band from The Hague, playing (hard)rock. This four-piece is specialised in songs from the last fifteen years.
Having said that, the group has much more to give. The band goes places most cover bands won’t. Don’t expect too much clichés here. On the repertoire are bands like Motörhead, Metallica, System of a down, Limp Bizkit, Foo Fighters, Muse, Audioslave, Rage Against The Machine, Rammstein, but they’re also known for their rockin’ versions of Michael Jackson and Abba songs. Their sound is tight, refreshing, energetic and exciting. Pogo-a-Gogo is best enjoyed live. Singer Valentijn Twisk, guitarist Rob Burridge, bass player Henriët ‘Dr. Claw’ van Rossum and drummer Ed Nieuwmans let the recognizable tunes speak for themselves, but give their personal twist to every song.
Singer/songwriter Pravini brings the best of two worlds together: the Western pop/rock and hiphop/soul which she grew up with in The Netherlands, and the South-Americans rhythms of Suriname and the Caribean where her roots lie. Together with her band she mixes these influences in an energetic and dynamic performance.
The contagious enery of Pravini’s liveshows is recorded on her albums Unexpected Turn of Events (2015) and Diaspora (2012). She performed these records in the Nederlands, England, USA and Suriname. Her unique style and quirky message gained her several awards, like the Shakti Award and a nomination for Best New Artist on the Suripoku Awards in Suriname ánd best female artist on the Hindipop Music Awards. Begin 2017 she released her new single Give Back uit.
